OUR STORY

How we started

 

We began our story 5 years ago with our transition to Veganism.

The resulting change in our diet spured us forward into creating our own healthy food options, two of which are Raw Apple Cider Vinegar and Cheezy Spreadz.

After sharing these with friends their enthusiasm for them encouraged us to go that step further and we began to sell to our local Health Food shops. 

We strive to produce impeccable products with thier own unique flavours and textures. 

 

 

The vinegar is produced from apples grown in our garden and from local sources. All apples are natural and have not been sprayed with any chemicals whatsoever.

We pick them by hand and then crush them in a scratter.

the pulp is then pressed in an oak press and the juice is transfered to oak barrels where it is left to ferment into apple cider. Once this process is complete the cider is transfered  into another oak barrel where it turns to cider vinegar.

This process is completely natural with nothing being added to the juice at any time. Natural bacteria completes every stage of the process.

All our vinegar is sold in glass bottles so there is no chance of  any contamination from plastics.

 

 

The cheezy spreadz are made from cashew nuts which are fermented . Once the fermentation is complete we add various ingredient, herbs, spices, tomatoes ect.

The cheezes come in 4oz compostable pots.
